Re: How to get the OS onto internal CF card?

2009-10-25 by Everett

I booted with my floppy drive still in the system to format the cf card, then moved the whole flash drive over to the scsi bus in my pc thinking that I had to copy the software to it using EMXP. At that point I realized that formatting the drive in the machine copies the OS to it and makes it bootable (EMXP recognized the OS). If I would have just changed my SCSI boot device that round and rebooted the EMAX I would have been booting from the CF card. I have an EMAX II in case you're wondering.
