i paid $45 for my Emax rack (needed a new floppy drive)... there's no set rule, it's all about how badly someone else wants one and what they're willing to pay. as time marches on you're bound to see more of these go for higher prices... it will just take a little luck to find a good deal... or get a fixer upper.
