what make and models did you buy first

what jumper settings are you using as this makes a big difference

what ide to cf card adapter are you using as some only support pio mode

and the scsi to ide needs to be set to this mode to work

the cf card that you got is fine they work

can you post pictures of set up as i can tell you what jumpers and settings 
to get it to work so can ted
