Re: [emax] Re: Point me to the places where to buy the right CF kit.

i dont know if that card works as its the updated version i could not get it to work with the ensoniqs but the older version which is the pdf that you got did work with the ensoniqs and emax

that model does work on yamaha a3000 kurzweil k2000/k2500 akais and rolands

the settings i use for the idsc 21-e are no jumpers on the fist 4 sets of pins 0-3 as this is id 0 which the emaxes can boot from

pin 4 and pin 5 need jumpers on this is for scsi 1 operation which is what the emaxes work at

pin 7 depending on what your ide to cf card supports pio mode is good enough for the emax as it only goes upto 600mb format size any way dma is for cards bigger than 1gb

check the cf card adapter to see what its set to if its a good quality 1 then you will have jumpers to set to dma /pio mode

also the ide to cf adapter has to be set to master cant use slave as the scsi to ide wont read it

no jumper on pin 9 as this puts it into flash rom mode and the device will not operate

can you post a picture of the cf card adapter
