The first link, the person that makes the floppy emulator may have to  
write support for an Emax disk image.

Price here doesn't seem that bad. So may be viable if the software  
will work / be updated to use Emax images.
It does say Schugart interface support, so a decent possibility of  
being useful.


at the second link, I think this is very important:

And they still may have to write firmware or software to make it  
compatible to read Emax Images.

- Why do this when you can get a known to work SCSI CF card drive from  
online vendors for less money than the above???

The only practical purpose I can see is for rev 1 boards that can't  
add SCSI.
But my understanding is those are few and far between....
