Hi David:

Given that this is an E-mu Emax discussion group, you might be better off posting this question at either http://www.eiiiforum.com/ or the Emulator III Yahoo users group. There are some very helpful regulars over at the Emulator forum in particular, and the site covers many different models (not just the Emulator III).

That said, there are several people on this e-mail list who also own the Emulator III (myself among them), so you may find some help here. Unfortunately, I'm not a technical expert on these complex machines, and a dead voice can be caused by many different problems.
