unsolder with desolder gun or desolder wick

litely pull the elfoil from pins then slide out from lcd

use old efoil as template for trimming new 1

once trimed slide the efoil back into lcd lining up holes on pins

then place pin hole down over pins and resolder

job done

if its a akai or fz1 then its attached to a cable so its a means of sliding out old efoil and disconnecting cable from old efoil and reconnecting new efoil

this is an easier job as it can all be done away from the sampler or synth
