yes but be aware not all ide to scsi works with emax
the scsi cards used in the akai are the idsc 2/r and dont work with emax or ensoniq the 7720u work with emaxes but dont with ensoniqs
the idsc 2/r work with kurzweils with out latency
but the acards and the iscde12 work with kursweils but have a 5 seconds latency will trying to access drives andf folders and samples

do you think the special mcp 2000xl scsi upgrade kit they sell is just an ide to scsi bridge though? it probably costs 70 dollars i'm guessing, bringing the total price back up to the normal cf drive price d'oh!
