buy your own cable and make your own most cable manufacturers use vandamm cable which is the best audio cable brand i buy mine on a 100 meter drum at £80
and cables dont usually cause noise if they do then its earth loop hum and the only way to get rid of that is di boxes with isolation transformers and earth lift
or by having a seperate earth electrode rod and a clean earth to all your sockets in the studio isolating the incomming supply where most earth loop noise comes from
now it sounds like you need a service it could be a couple of things but the most likely its the dac for the audio to the filter ic,s if it were just 1 filter ic then when you press all eight keys you would only get a few voices playing but if you are getting none then the audio feed to the filters is at fault
i diagnosed a similar problem to another members emax the cv dac was faulty and when controller info was sent it would not change the the filter cutoof or the volume or the panning
or it could be the sample and hold circuit which are 4051 octal sample and holds
you can change these for smp08 from analog devices they have a better slew rate and are analog devices pin for pin upgrade
now to check these properly you will need a oscillascope and a logic anyliser to see if they are working correctly
if you have not got 1 of these then you can try the chip replacement method
desolder the component and fit a ic socket than in future servicing if a part goes you can just unplug and fit a new 1
i can tell you what ic to remove and try ill sift through the schematics for you

Sounds like time for a service to me... electronic fault suggested by the nature of the interference changing when you change sample rates....
could be pre a to d, which would be relatively simple but depending on the type of noise you're getting it may be a purely digital problem... If you don't have signal tracing experience you're best off taking it to someone who does.
Ps don't buy monster products.... Mogami, canare, klotz are all great cable material. Buy from a cable maker who uses these cable brands. Or use them yourself to make your own cables.

Subject: [emax] Emax 1 Rack HD - Dirty Noise when sampling
Hi everybody,
Since a few days, when sampling with my Emax 1 Rack HD, I get a "dirty noise",
something that looks like an old time code signal, a clock signal, or something
like that...
I tried differents sampling frequencies, and it's still here, but at a different
freqency...
I also tried to unplug the HD : same results. Any idea of what I can do ?
Is my best sampler dead ?
Thanks for your help !
