dont need the scsi upgrade kit it already has it installed all you need is a zip drive that can bee set to scsi id 0 which means you need an internal zip drive in a external case for it to be changed to this id as for the replacement drive have you set it to scsi id 0
otherwise it will always run os from floppy
the only difference with the plus os is that you can set what scsi drive you want to scan and load instruments from once os is loaded you can set it to another id its set in software in the rom as scsi id0
