That price sounds quite high, particularly if it is not working. You can sometimes find Emax II 
samplers on Ebay. There is a rack on there now for USD 399 or about 300 EUR. You should always 
check how much RAM it has using the Master 2 Memory Remaining function. The model number is 
not a reliable indicator as many have been upgraded. Memory Remaining will report the number of 
16 bit words, not bytes, so a 8MB Emax II will report 4,194,260.
