if you want 1 sample for the whole keyboard yo need to sample at c6 as it will only transpose up to its maximum playing frequency which is usually double max sampling frequency unless it the
ultra samplers which have 128x oversampling so can pitch interpolation over the whole range of the keyboard from 1 sample

When you load a disk with a sound keymapped across the keyboard, it works because the disk has a multisampled set that it loads. The emax can only pitch a single sample up a limited range.
