When the SCSI is backwards, the floppy will not load the OS.  I have not
tried using EMXP yet but, that OS a good idea.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Question...  Does anyone know if the internal Emax HD was hard set to a
specific SCSI ID?

for you. Power is usually what I f** up first, but you mention the LED, so
you're miles ahead already!

Maybe someone with a proven CF card formatted with an emax HD os image could
send you one in the mail? Figure out if it's only a write-access issue. You
could try making one with emxp and a cheap usb-card writer, perhaps.
