Well, I have tried an NEC, Sony, and TEAC successfully- someone else tried a
Mitsumi.
I don't think compatibility is much of an issue.
I used TEAC FD-05x (several models, some end in G, some H, etc).
Just make the slim floppy converter as I have it on my page:
