Emax

Hello,
I got an Emax (1 keyboard) last week without the OS or power cord.  After 
many tries, I (think) I made an OS disk.  First of all, I used a standard 
computer power cord and it seems to work.  When I insert the disk, the 
floppy drive tries to read the disk, then makes three clicking noises, and 
immediately following that the EMAx lights blink once quickly and it just 
keeps repeating this procedure.
Do you think the clicking/blinking is due to a bad floppy drive or disk or 
is it the power cord?
I woud really appreciate any help at all with this problem.
