softsynth and turbo synth do se type synthesis
its basically a wave table you set each partial and the evelope for each partial so that it changes over time to the next partial
its ok but as the emax does not do wave scanning theres no modulation of the partials over time but you can do very exiting partial loops like the 1,s in the d50 and d10 and jd800/990
if you like that type of sound i can do 512 partail slot wavetables that change over time but blend back into the same first wave as the last so you get effortless loops no glitches
what i would like to see new samples beeing done with new ideas ill post some sf2 files for you to mess about with these ones are from a d50 and they are la synthesis patches emulating a dx7

That's a great idea. With the age of the machines, we should strive to keep all the software and samples alive for all to use. When I bought my EMax SE, it came with a box of disks and some nice sounds. I'm sure I can do more with the SE, and would like to do so. 🎃👻

This was required due to a copy protection mechanism which makes it impossible to copy this SD for Emax .bin file from that HFS image to a simple floppy disk or another hard disk.
