Ok, well I have replaced both CD4028 chips (IC11, IC12), but no difference, same fault. Looks like the scanner chip *is* partially faulty? Also, the 'Preset Management' LED is lit during startup, apparently this means the scanner chip isn't present? Anyone got any last ideas? Thanks!
