More than likely you will not be able to put a SCSI HD in to your model 1020 unless it 
clearly is labelled HD as part of the Emax logo. The Emax did not come SCSI ready like 
the Emax II did and actually requires a different controller card and I believe some a 
new motherboard. The only upgrade you might be able to run is the SE OS which adds 
additive synthesis and transform multiplication functions. Not really worth the effort 
though, the Emax's processor is deadly slow when performing those functions. Please
