Re: [emax] Just got my mac classic II

2011-11-29 by Johnny Tomasello

With the CF reader, I connected it directly to the Emax, without the Zip, set the SCSI ID to 0, and used an active terminator. I've never had an internal HD in the Emax, so there was no ID conflict.

The Emax would "see" the reader, but hang on the format option, and just never finish. I asked around and thought the drive was incompatable. I bought the Spyrus CF reader for my MPC 3000 because it was recommended specifically for it, as not all drives will work. So it seemed reasonable the same might be true for the Emax.
