Thanks Jammie! It is working here now as well :-) I tried putting the Emax Plus 1.0 operating system onto floppy using EMXP, but was having problems, so I tried doing it onto my windows formatted Kodak 128mb CF card, but that in the machine, and BOOF it worked straight away! Everything is so much quicker. Saves and loads fine. 35 banks at my disposal. Thanks for all your help, I think I'd have got frustrated and given up if you weren't able to fix my machine in the first instance, and figure out this problem in the second. If anyone is having a problem with their Emax, I would not hesitate in recommending Jammie. I have the SCSI cable set up correctly, and I am using a SanDisk 512mb CF card via a PCMCIA adapter. The 50B lights up and it passes the 'formatting HD', 'loading bank "untitled 1 ", and gets as far as 'saving software' when it gets to the HD error screen and that's it. > > > > > > > > I purchased the PCD-50B from the a4000t.com website, which makes me think that it has the correct firmware (I think the website even makes this claim); nevertheless, tomorrow I am going to try to talk my girlfriend into letting me install this thing in her PC and updating its firmware. If this doesn't work, I have to say I am totally lost. > > > > > > > > If anyone can offer any kind of help, I would really appreciate it! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
