yes as its a top solder connection so you will have to hard wire the lcd as the connections are for a side parallel solder connection if you brought the one we said then you would of not have to

  Hi,
  sorry it's me again.
Just for 2 very simple questions:

  I finally bought this: http://www.reichelt.de/LCD-Module-organisch/EA-W162-X3LW/index.html?;ACTION=3;LA=444;GROUP=A526;GROUPID=3012;ARTICLE=113317;START=0;SORT=artnr;OFFSET=75;SID=13Ty6HRn8AAAIAAAQA3HEfc2de5c57b939d52ec7f02b00b4acda7

Now it is said in jammie emma's description that I have to desolder this old red slider pin box on the pcb. Is that necessary or can I just use the now free holes where the old pins were in? (because I do not own a desoldering pump) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/75453658@N08/6847082909/)

And just for check; if I'm standing in front of the pcb as if it's mounted in the emax then the old pin order is
  13 14
  : :
  1 2
Right? I ask this question because on another website it's different(last post: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-electronic-music-production/624486-emu-emax-new-display.html)

Thanks a lot!! This should be my last question....
