1) by mentioning soldering wires and stuff like that you mean probably the process which is well-described by Ted Summers' website?

2) The final conncetion will look like that?:

PCD50b -> modificated JM215a slim floppy converter -> EMAX floppy 
connection 
[Why isn't it connected to the faster(?) harddrive scsi conncetion?]

3) Then I have to make sure that the the cf cards' size doesn't exceed 1gb (I read it somewhere) and are version 1 or 2?
