no as its what was set by emu in its rom we are taking 25+ years machine when 20mb was massive for a hard drive
its impossible to format any bigger as it wont be seen as an emax 1 drive

i know this is a silly question, is there any way (special key) to bypass the capacity check which happens when you try to format a drive that too large? might be useful. part 2 of this would be to format it and trick it so that we can write more than 20mb to a card.
for the record, i was able to format/read/write to a 1gb Kingston card.
