Thanks for the quick reply. Can I fix or get those diods fixed somehow? It's not a big deal since I have a MIDI keyboard to control it with. The display doesn't cause any noise now since it's not working =) I guess that the inverter is broken but I will check with a multimeter tonight. I guess I go for the VFD then. =) Great Jammie. Where do I send the board? In the ad for the emax keyboard the seller described that E-mu factory had repaired the display which generated a noise (Inverter replacement?) > From what I recall, Ted Summers said something about when the display is dead the Emax won't start. Maybe it's the LE Foil that's not working? But shouldn't one be able to read any characters then? The Emax rack's display is working. Well, the characters are shown but with no background light. > I rather switch to a VFD but it seems to be a little work with that. Is there a replacement display to get somewhere? A funny thing is that on some sounds (loaded from disk), the D and Eb (5:th octave) generate sound but the voices "hangs" In most other sound banks they're dead as the other ones. It seems that only sounds with long decay, sustain and/or release are generated from the 5:th octave D and Eb. > E, F, G #, G (5:th octave) do not work but the last A, A #, B is working. > > Any ideas? > > Regards > Kalle > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
