I can almost assure you that if they say .SYX they are "System Exclusive Data" and the Emax probably will not accept them no matter what they are as it needs the proper MIDI handshaking to accept samples. You should format some disks on your Emax and download the "Blissdisk from the Emax users group and use EMX in much the same way you used Copyqm (Exit to DOS) and save bank to disk within EMX specify the A drive and Blissdisk.em1 and see if it works for you. EMX does work but I find that to get someone a working OS disk Copyqm works better. If you format the disks on the Emax copying a bank to it from EMX gives you better results. The .em1 files floating around are working up to catalog number ZD749 above this they seem to be corrupt. There is some Emax group members talking about posting the Emax Banks on a FTP site but as far as I know there is nothing yet. Be patient as someone will do it. I found some emax sounds a while back and when I unzipped them it had each individual sound as an .syx file. How can I put those on an emax formatted disk or convert to one em1 file?
