Emax

Hi everyone, just joined after getting my first emax. I think it is a plus model 2100, SE on the front, no hd inside, but has what looks like factory scsi. The boards say ver A but there are also stickers that say "B". It is in almost new shape, original box, the backlight works. Unfortunately, if I am lucky I can get the floppy drive to read about 3 times the screen gives it's welcome message and stops. I am thinking about pulling the fd, but would like to bypass it and boot from the external scsi connector. I would appreciate any suggestion.
