Emax

wont work as its pc based system and uses pc format banks or dos

there are a few synths that allow this the yamaha run on a dos system as do the newer korgs

but the emax runs on a shugart system thats why we have to modify the slim floppy adapters so that the emax can see the drive as ds0 as pc are set to ds1

the sd flopppy emulator works but that is becuase it actually emulates the shugart system and via a software driver so the drive can act like the target drive it was designed for

but these are £90 compared to the gotek being £15

the sd flopy emulator also is compatible with many more drives

as the usb gotek are dos or pc systems only
