Re: [emax] New Emax II user

So..... I have cleaned the floppy drive and tried again with both the OS floppy in (the original E-mu disk and the 2 I made using emxp), I also tried with no floppy disk inserted (but the floppy drive still connected) to see if it would boot from HD.

Unfortunately I still get exactly the same errors. Both the floppy and the hard drive are clicking/spinning up, so they have power.

I was aware that the floppies needed to be DD, not HD, and covered up the relevant holes.

Is there a way to confirm that SCSI is working? Could that be the issue? Or should I go for a replacement floppy drive? I'm a bit stuck now :(

I look forward to your replies!

Tony
