Hey everybody, sorry I haven't been paying attention to all these posts lately.. Just read one of the emails.. Do you all think one of these displays would work the same for an E-MU SP12? I need one for that. If so count me in, on either color! Peace!! It isn't impossible- just a lot easier if you can remove the inverter and drop in the replacement. I am also going to look into if I can make it so you wouldn't even have to mess with the inverter. However- some people the inverter makes hum or buzz, so getting rid of it isn't a bad idea.... Le samedi 29 septembre 2012, Ted Summers <djtbs1@...> a écrit : As previously posted ALL WHITE OLED have been spoken for. If people are willing to get a YELLOW OLED that is drop in, I can order up to 20 of those too, but I think I have to have 10 people to order the other color. You do need to remove the inverter like Jammie has stated previously. It doesn't use the High Voltage inverter for the EL backlight. If someone doesn't actually pay, then I can put that display up as available. Since I am providing the items *AT COST* thus far, I will provide a little more detail: The OLED units (raw part) are $13.85 USD. There is a 3 to 4 week manufacturing lead time from order placement date. I expect them to not have headers, so will have to order those. I expect the headers to cost about $2 USD each (tin pins are about a $1, but would rather be sure of the good connection, so I prefer gold). I will be soldering them on and verifying each display works in my Emax testbed, so will charge $2 USD for this service. So at this point each display is $17.85 USD for the part itself, tested in Emax- without the shipping costs. There will be some shipping costs / fees from the OLED manufacturer. I will be spreading this evenly across the price of all 20 displays. I will get clarification on the shipping soon, as I will place the order and be paying with Credit Card, this will be easy to deduce the final display cost. Be aware I can provide full disclosure of the costs associated if that becomes necessary, so you can see it. There is no jacking up of prices here (at least by me). The costs are the costs... I think most people here know what my reputation is from providing service with the SCSI kits and questions answered, etc. From the point discussed so far, there is shipping to the end person (YOU). This will be $5 USD for USPS priority mail here in the US per shipment address (not per display). Overseas, it will be $5 for first class post, unless you want tracking- that is o -- http://www.krikor.fr +33632199413 bookings: France/Suisse/Benelux: fanyktdj@...
