ted the reason i move the invertor is becuase if they have been damaged by week efoils they wine and carry on wining after the display has been replaced by a vfd or oled

PLEASE NOTE- This part per the mechanical / engineering specification sent
by the manufacturer is a DROP IN REPLACEMENT as far as the electrical
connection- NO WIRING will be necessary.
You do need to remove the inverter like Jammie has stated previously.
It doesn't use the High Voltage inverter for the EL backlight.
