and that is cheap if you try and buy the chips seperate they will cost you 
more the tim pal chip you have to burn your self

the cheapest i could get the scsi chips was in quantities of 50+ @\ufffd15 each 
which is mega if you only want 1

you still need to do the wire mods and trace cuts to get it to work

as the tim pal has the extra logic for the scsi interface but the mother 
board still has not the traces for the scsi to work so it will not be a plug 
and play option

you might be lucky that they fitted the larger socket as they did on some of 
the later revision boards
