it does not need a dongle the dongle license is on the zipdrive image so you will need an scsi zipdrive to run it as a cd wont work

  jammie, if you uploaded the sound designer for emax again, can you provide a link to it? tried the old one in the files section of this group, but does not work.

  just found out that, an audiomedia card is required to run sound designer 2.5. won't launch at all. damn, another dongle... anyway it was tested in a mac classic emulator running os9 with files from this forum. (thanks to all the nice contributors!) 

  so, there goes the idea of using a laptop mac or desktop macs with pci bus with sound designer 2.5. 

  but, maybe sound designer for emax won't require an audiomedia card, a-dongle? like sound designer universal?

  by the way, anyone know the difference between sound designer 2 and sound designer for emax? can't find much details on them...
