i have a few e-mu eiiix samplers that use the same inverter as the emax and notice that backlight4you carries a few types of inverters. i emailed them asking if i could use this one <http://www.backlight4you.com/product_info.php/info/p777_5-Volt-Inverter\ -for-EL-Panels-up-to-105cm2-area.html> (5v) and he suggested i use this one <http://www.backlight4you.com/product_info.php/info/p818_6-Volt-Inverter\ -for-EL-Panels-up-to-40cm2-area.html> (6v) instead because of the small screen size of the eiiix. or, he suggested i use the 'nearly silent version' here <http://www.backlight4you.com/product_info.php/info/p915_3-Volt-Inverter\ -for-EL-Panels-up-to-60cm2-area.html> , along with a voltage regulator <http://www.backlight4you.com/product_info.php/info/p950_DC-Voltage-Regu\ lator-3-Volt--100mA--TO-92.html> . the original inverter in the e-mu is 5v correct?
