Hi, It's important to know that Emax will tell you what's wrong through it's leds. What I can tell about the leds (picture of the blank LED's which is normal because there is no boot) is that there is a faulty connection to the E-Chip register(Sequencer LED) and faulty to write a byte into it's E-Chip RAM (Master LED). This indicates that it has something todo with the E-Chip. On the Emax II all testing and function data is regulated through LSI#2 chip. The same is done through the E-Chip of the Emax I. Do make sure to disconnect every cable before you start to work on the Emax. I don't own an Emax I but Emax II so you'll have to look if the E-chip is removable and clean contacts with pure alcohol if possible. Than make sure everything is dried up and reseat the E-chip. Hopefully it will boot, otherwise it might be a faulty E-chip or bad solder joints to the E-chip (reheat with heater).
