Ever hear / seen a wire / cable hooked to nothing that ends up acting as an
antenna and injecting signal into a circuit from a radio station to that
circuit?
I have.....on mixing boards no less. Wire was less then 6 ft long and there
is not a radio station within less than 8 miles proximity to that location.

Electronics can (and sometimes do) things that can be explained, but
require a lot of investigation into the cause.
