i tried with different OS, with the original OS 3.2, midi dump works perfectly, but not with EMuser EMXP. It could be the IC, or the other components in the midi / serial circuit as this is shared. You don't have MIDI and serial both hooked up at same time, correct? (that doesn't work). Have you tried regular MIDI transfer / data commands (no EmuSer) and verified it works? If MIDI doesn't work, then that would give greater possibility that the circuit has a problem. Hi you mean that if a midi cable and a serial cable are connected to the machine at the same time it won't work, even i'm not using only one? that could be the reason then. but weirdly it worked on OS3.2 via midi in DSP-quattro, with both cable connected, but not via RS. i'm not at the studio right not but i'll try again with only one cable when i'm back. Hello I have one Emax 1 SE HD Rack to sell, the box is an average shape, but the hardware works perfectly, and its sleeping here in the studio so i guess it will be better with somebody using it. I do have an Emax 2 Keyboard with 8Mb ram to sell, one key the lowest C one is broken, but works, mean you can trigger and it works but needs to be replaced. Check the pictures down there for both, send me your offers i will reply to all of you. I thought i better first ask the Emax fan community before putting this on Ebay. Preferred is a local pickup (Paris/France) but will study any international offer, be aware that shipping at emax keyboard will be at your own risks, as its quite fragile. Ever hear / seen a wire / cable hooked to nothing that ends up acting as an antenna and injecting signal into a circuit from a radio station to that circuit? I have.....on mixing boards no less. Wire was less then 6 ft long and there is not a radio station within less than 8 miles proximity to that location. Emax should always say "Diagnostics" when booting. This is in the EPROM. Ok thank you Ted, do you any an idea regarding my midi/rs problem? I don't know where to start, should I re seat some ics?
