Emax

Hello all,
I have been using Reason lately, and one thing I was frustrated with 
was not being able to import samples/banks into its samplers (NN-XT, 
etc.).
Well, I just found out today about an app that does this: 
CDXtract 4

It wont deal with emax or emax II files as far as I can tell, but I 
have an EIII that it will recognize the formats of. So I guess I can 
use the EIII as middleman between EmaxII and Reason, by importing my 
EmaxII stuff into the EIII first.

I was kinda surprised Chickensys translator wasn't on this first, but 
their site suggests that they are "still in process of attempting to 
get" the info they need on the reason encrypt/compress format from 
the makers of reason. You can use Translator to make soundfonts of 
your EIII sets, then reason can import them though.

We're going to have NN-XT support next week, and I'm continuing to try to 
get Emax stuff in. It's a hassle with the schedule.

Reason sounds crap compared to my Emax II,
I use an Emagic-soundboard,but Reason sounds too digital,
Emax2 is much ,warmer punchier

All these software-synths nowadays sound Crap
