Emax 1 Samples

2003-08-10 by rokiahyaman

Hi

I've just joined the group. Does anyone out there have any Emax 1
samples I could copy? Most of mine seem to have degraded in storage
and wont boot up. I am in London so I guess someone local would be
good.

Many thanks

Rokiah Yaman

Welcome to the group Rokiah, you might be able to use a program that many of
us use
called emx. It is in the files section and runs on dos 6.22 or earlier. Its
basically a program
that will allow you to store emax sounds in the computer and share them with
others.
There is instructions in the files section as well as on the groups
owners website.
Currently sounds in this format are graciously being stored by one of our
members
at the below url.
Even though the program will run in windows, make sure you run it in dos
only
as the disks created running in windows wont work.

You may also want to check around some music shops may still have
librarys they
will let you copy. Im sure its getting rarer and rarer but I went into
Guitar Center
and walked out with a shoebox full of disks to copy by agreeing to leave my
cell phone
to insure I returned them! (and when I got home I found all the disks I had
given them, lol)
I did get some cool ones and ones I lost so it worked out.

anyways.......the link....

good luck let us know how it works out.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
