Emax Samples to cd from PC?

Emax Samples to cd from PC?

2003-09-28 by hartmaan2003

Is it possible to simply burn the em1 and em2 files from the net onto
a CD in a PC and then load them from a scsi cdrom drive straight into
the Emax without any conversion problems? I am having no luck yet
with the emx program and floppies (DSDD):-(

Cheers Peter from NZ

I just looked at a .em2 file and noted that it's simply a bank without the
directory listing, and with a small header noting the emx program.

I suppose I can integrate something in Translator Free to enable this
easily. I'll try.

Is the .em1 or .em2 standardized file extensions? The EMX program doesn't
add any default extension.

BTW, I am still committed to supporting Emax in Translator, but alas we
just have never the time. This nice Emax is sitting next to me pleading... =)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
