Mod/pitch wheel problems

I've been experiencing problems with calibrating the mod/pitch wheels on my emax 2. It seems to display wild figures way above the upper/mid point/lower limit when i try to calibrate. As a result my pitch wheel is constantly giving out a full + pitch message..................HELP Cheers Chitlun
