could someone PLEASE DO THE SAME with ALCHEMY 

also any info on siliar programs would be a nice help too

Since Alchemy was orphaned in the early 90s I would be glad to, but 
Alchemy has (had) a floppy-based authorization program--you had to 
insert the authorization floppy and authorize/deauthorize your HD to 
run it. I think each had one or two authorizations on it, and that's 
it.

Working around the copy protection scheme is beyond me. Ideas?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
