Hi
The floppy id has to be set to the right id to function. As I recall the id on the Emax must be 0 and most new floppy drives is set to 1 as default and cannot be changed because there are no jumpers.
This place might have the drive: http://www.route66studios.com/
A good source for information about your Emax is: www.emulatorarchive.com .
I urge everyone who own an Emax or an old Emulator to use emulatorarchive and to buy from the site in order to keep it alive :-)

I wonder if you can use a "modern" floppy drive without any jumper settings. Anybody
experiment with this or do I have to get the TEAC A529?
Thanks for your input,
