After years of trying to fix my Emax II Iv'e decided to sell. Its got the usuall screen clouding, one broken key and a chip of plastic came off of the side(not too noticeable). Other than that it works fine, its fully expanded 8 MB with a 540 MB internal HD. All serious offers considered. Would aslo consider a trade for rack mount synth related stuff.

I'll give you $60 for it. Dan

I'm thinking of selling my Emax II 8meg rack (model 2213)very good cosmetic condition, backlight fine and everything fully working. I've owned this for about 10 years and it's only been used in a smoke free home studio. But, since I got an Esynth rack some years ago it's had hardly any use at all. My Esynth reads the libraries from it as well as Emax (upward thru Emax II with SCSI)so it's time for a new home. Thought I'd post here before anywhere else, email me off list if interested, I'm in the UK. Pix available. regards Lyn

That "L" is for an English Pound. It's more than a Dollar. You'll need to check the exchange rate. Well most of the studio is sold, just a few pieces left, so I figured it was time to sell the Emax. Emax II Rack with 2 megs, a bit of rack rash, works perfectly. Comes with the Elements of Sound CDs Vol 1&2 and Universe of Sound CDs Vol 1&2, I'll also throw in the CDRom drive, but not the external enclosure (I still need it for my Mac) Email offers to me off list, the unit is located in Revelstoke BC, Canada. I will also be revamping my website in the next month or so, and deleating the Synergy and Emax pages, so if anyone wants to download any samples, you better do it soon. If anyone is interested in anything else, email me, and I'll let you know if it is still available.

So, in other words your telling me that my Emax isn't worth s**T. Well I guess I might as well just take it to the dump with the rest of the garbage. Yes.. do put it on ebay.. I ment that I got a good deal on one.. I have seen a few go for 350++ in the past few days.. but if you are compairing that to what they originally sold for than yes.. they do go for quite a bit less. --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, "tu" <tu@...> wrote: > > Hi Dave, > > Put it on ebay, you might be surprised what you will get for it with the > CDROMs etc. > > /Tristan > > Wednesday, March 1, 2006, 4:44:22 PM, you wrote: > > D> So, in other words your telling me that my Emax isn't worth s**T. > D> Well I guess I might as well just take it to the dump with the rest of > D> the garbage. Hey all, Regretfully, I must sell my trusty old Emax II keyboard. It has been in storage for the last 2 years, which tells me I will probably not need it again. Here are some specs on it: I believe the man I bought it from was a former member of Oingo Boingo back around 1991 :) Model: 2201 SN: 0300522 Internal Hard Drive: ST-157N (March 1990)-There is a rocker switch installed that will power the HD off -No Memory upgrades- I have the original operation manual I also have many many floppies that contain all sorts of samples, and a couple Zip drives that I've used with the thing. I created a couple sample banks over the years, Indian tabla, footsteps, etc. and those will come with it. I'm located in the SF bay area currently, and am moving back to Los Angeles in the coming months. If you are interested, please contact me off line. Any resonable offer considered. I also have an EIIIXS Rack unit fully loaded with RAM that I may be willing to part with too if someone wants it. Thanks, -PF [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
