Hi,
Thanks for the email.
EMX must be run under DOS native, so boot the PC from a DOS diskette. You
can make a DOS boot diskette from Windows. EMX will not work properly under
WIndows as it has to write directly to the drive. Always use DS/DD diskettes
that are new , and have been formatted first in an Emax.
This should work 80% of the time !!

Rbo

Subject: [emax] emx trouble
Hi!
I'm trying to get emx to work. I have imported about 100 disks with
it, and now it wont import any thing more. I'm trying the disks in
the Emax and the work fine, i try to import the same disks that i
have already imported and they dont work either.
Does emx have some sort of operatingsystem preference??
What i want to know if which operating systems people have get it to
work on.
Are there any better toll for importing samples to a PC??
Best Regards
