Emax

Hi,

I have an Emax II which I bought in 1992. Recently it stopped booting
from the hard drive. I suspected the drive and replaced it. It worked
long enough for me to format and load the software from a floppy but
then exhibited the same symptom. It is quite happy to boot from a Zip
drive that I back all of my samples up to. I was told that the
external SCSI port shares exactly the same bus as the the internal
drive. Is this true or does the HD controller have two separate SCSI
busses? Has anyone  else experienced this. I replaced the HD cable to
no avail. Could just be a dry joint, I suppose.
