Emax

Hello, I've got a problem hope someone can fix.
I own an Emax and an EmaxHD, one can sample (Emax) and one cannot 
sample (EmaxHD).
Since no one knows how to repair the sample function I've decided to 
keep on using the HD just to read and store in banks the samples done 
with the Emax.
Here it comes the problem: the Emax HD can read the Emax floppies but 
not viceversa, it's obviously a software incompatibility 'cause a 
message of the Emax says "different software rev!"
So I've tried to load the software of the Emax (3.2) in the HD floppy 
disc, well, it saves the software but erases the bank leavin' only the 
P00 empty preset.
Don't know how to do...do you?
