Greetings!

Greetings!

2005-09-15 by chapman2112

Hi all. Just a quick intro - this is my first post. I just acquired
a Baldwin IKE ("Instrumental Keyboard Ensemble") which is an Emax
clone. Thought I would join the group and maybe pick up some
tips/techniques as I am new to the world of sampling. I am no
stranger to synth programming however.

Have a look at the pic I uploaded in the files section.

Cheerz.

I do not know how to make a disk image of the OS. The only disk
this came with is "Arco Strings ZD209 - BAlDWIN IKE Sound
Diskette". Some spooky strings BTW. Can you point me to
instructions on how to make a disk image of the OS somewhere?

the OS is on the disks with the sound samples/banks,
that's why the machine won't boot without the floppy
in it (unless you have an HD).

With EMX and an old version of DOS you can create an OS disk of whatever OS you want, everything you need is in the files section. You can also make an SE update disk if you are so inclined.
