WAV-to-EMAX translator program for PC has been released

As some of you may have noticed I've put a WAV2EMAX conversion program
in the files section a few days ago.
I replaced that one now with a second build. You can find it here:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/emax/files/WAV2EMAX/

This small DOS-program takes all .WAV files found in the ..\create
folder and creates an EMAX-I compatible disk image out of it. This
image can then be loaded in your EMAX-I or EMAX-II sampler, after you
have put it on a disk using EMX. It should work (tests by Emalcaco and
myself were succesful :-).

Please read the readme.txt file first to find out how to use the
program. It's very simple really, but you'll have to open a DOS
window :-)
Especially check the requirements for the .WAV files (16-bit, only mono
or stereo, EMAX-I compatible frequency, ...) and total EMAX memory.

This version of WAV2EMAX can not create full 16-bit EMAX-II images yet.
This feature will be added in the next build.

Have fun,

This is *so* awesome. Maybe the best thing ever for the emax imo...

Now I can finally (easily) transfer all these samples I have collected
over the years and use them in my emax. I was just too lazy to do it
the long way :)

Good looking out, as the saying goes.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
