Emax

Hi,

So, at the moment I'm stuck on trying to get my emax hd booted. BUT, 
I have a feeling this will be resolved soon so I have to plan for 
future modifications.

I'm going to be exchanging the boards between an emax hd keyboard and 
an emax (standard) rack, becuase the keyboard is just too big for my 
space.

I'm planning to add a zip drive to the finalized emax hd rack (if the 
swap works) but I've read in some posts that having an internal zip 
drive will stress out the power supply until it dies.  I don't plan 
to have a hard disk running, but will this matter?  

Are there any cool emaxers out there doing the internal zip drive 
with the original power supply?  If not I might consider doing the 
computer power supply upgrade that has been posted here before, but I 
don't like the whole fan noise side effect.

Any suggestions or experiences related to this will be very helpful.
