Anyone ever get this error message when trying to save?

No, but according to the SCSI instructions document for EMAX, you get 
this error when:
- you try to save or load from a SCSI ID on which no Harddisk has been 
connected;
- the Harddisk having that SCSI ID has no power (anymore), e.g. a power 
supply problem with the HD.
